About Family First Academy

Family First Academy is a private boarding academy that provides a full-time college preparatory education for young men and women, grades 8-12. Located in a small northeastern city on the banks of Lake Erie, our 125-acre campus provides a safe environment specifically designed to facilitate youth development. Started in 1994 as a soccer training facility, the Family First organization has evolved into an academic and athletic campus offering a traditional college preparatory education that is fully integrated with a wide range of sports, fitness and recreational programs that can be customized to meet the individual needs and skill levels.

At Family First Academy, students will grow in a nurturing environment that combines structured guidance and support with self-reliance, personal development and discovery. Challenging academics, small class sizes, attentive staff and a close-knit community all combine to provide an ideal learning environment for both domestic and international students.

We serve students of all races, religions, nationalities, and levels of academic ability. By combining a traditional college preparatory curriculum with integrated athletic and fitness programs, we offer a unique and structured environment designed to facilitate student success.

Goal

FFA’s goal is to provide its students with a positive, structured environment designed to maximize personal growth. We strive to replace the unenthusiastic environment found in public schools, that often disconnects students, with a positive atmosphere filled with human connection and tangible interaction. We strive to facilitate and inspire positive personal development through traditional education and structured sports and activities programming designed to create opportunity for success, favorable interaction, and positive influence.
