ESL Camp at Family First Academy

Summer and Winter in Erie, Pennsylvania is a time when students can study in Family First Academy’s one-of-a-kind ESL program.

The students can also enjoy the cultural, social, and recreational programs available on campus including: The Sports Dome (provides an indoor driving range, miniature golf, soccer, football, baseball and 360 Degrees – Erie Elite), The Fieldhouse (two indoor soccer fields, basketball & volleyball courts, fitness center), Fun Center (go-cart track, bumper boat pond, two mini golf courses, outdoor rockwall, batting cage stations) and The Summit, a 300 person state-of-the-art auditorium. Family First Academy offers its students 120 acres dedicated to learning, personal enrichment, and growth. 

Winter Program
January 1st – February 15th 2010
$6,500 (ALL INCLUSIVE – Instructional materials, trips and activities)
$2,000 per week if you wish to attend for any period of time more or less than four weeks

Previous trips students have enjoyed:
Presque Isle State Park– known for its 7 miles of sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets. You will be able to cool off at one of 13 designated swimming areas or enjoy walking or jogging along the 13-mile paved multi-purpose trail.

Niagara Falls– You will explore the roar of the Falls after riding the world-famous “Maid of the Mist.” This is one of North America’s oldest tourist attractions. 

Peek ‘n Peak Ski Resort– This is the perfect place for you to enjoy snow on and off the slopes. Known for its 27 ski slopes and snow tubing hills that people of all ages can enjoy.

ESL Classes
The ESL program offers intensive study of English language skills with emphasis on academic preparation. Upon arriving, students are interviewed and placed in appropriate class levels to meet the needs of the students. Students will also develop technological skills such as working with PowerPoint, SmartBoard, and Projectors.

Afternoons
Students can participate in various activities on-campus including: fitness center, football, basketball, soccer, outdoor recreational activities, volleyball and much more. 

Weekends
Students will participate in various trips planned on the weekends. Some of the trips would include: Washington DC, Peek ‘N Peak Ski Resort, Erie Peninsula, Buffalo Mall, Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, and various others.
